Thank you for the info. I couldn’t agree with you more about cassette tape. I started with reel to reel in the day and then later to cassette. I think it forces you to stop and see what’s next. Besides, without the cassette, you can’t save the galaxy. Thanks

Hi, I was researching ALPA (which there is very little about online) to find this sight. In Danny's book, can you tell me what the little symbols that look like a flat top pyramid are? Thanks for your help

Hi, if you mean the symbols in the source code appendix that cannot be found in the C64’s character set and are often shown within strings, those symbols are just indicating how many spaces you should insert there. It’s confusing and unfortunately not explained anywhere.

I found this place while bored at work, it's so interesting! I also discovered it's somewhat similar to Gemini browser (I might be misunderstanding, my English is very poor, this translation is from Google).

The site has a Gemini protocol version, that can be viewed with a Gemini browser like Lagrange (among many others). Not to be confused with the Google Gemini AI browser ;)

Cool site! I was an Atari ST kid in the 80s, I think my folks were gonna buy an Amiga, but it was a lot more expensive!

Got my first Amiga (500) in 1991 with my first credit card - eventually maxing it out with the GVP TF530 and even the PC AT minicard. This webpage design brings a tear to my html3/4 writing eye. Love it. Now have too many Amigas and old PCs and too little time!! Don’t let this site die.
